This amazing alkalising formulation has many versatile uses and once applied to the treatment area changes the skins PH of about 4.5-6.8 to a pH of 12. When we change the skin to a pH of 12, we place the skin into an alkaline state, therefore dissolving and softening the skin and hair. Alkaline solution kills bacteria, resurfacing dead skin and hair, excellent for improving the texture of the skin and pain free. We treat clients who suffer with the blonde downey hairs or “fluff” with alkaline also proving to be a favourite treatment amongst clients. Excellent for Acne lesions & Rosacea skin sufferers.

For overall skin health rejuvenation in conjunction with a prescribed Dermafix Skincare regime, Dermafix Alkaline procedure will help with pigmentation concerns, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, adult acne and scarring (surgical and otherwise).

Post treatment the client may experience any of the following;

• Heat, tightness, possible redness

• Crusting in some areas, this may appear within 24 hours to 3 days post treatment which is perfectly normal

• Excess oil

• Dryness which can last up to 10 days

• For hair removal treatments the hairs may grow back initially feeling stubbly, this also will subside

• Your skin feeling a little rubbery for up to 72 hours

Skin Needling is a popular treatment used for anti ageing and rejuvenation. It works by using fine medical grade needles in a dermapen to penetrate the skin which will cause trauma, your skin will then heal itself and stimulate new collagen and elastin fibres to help plump, smooth and even out the skin tone and texture. ⁣

This treatment is perfect for anyone with acne scars, pigmentation/melasma, fine lines and wrinkles. You will be red after the session and this may last 24-72 hours depending on the clients skin. Peeling/flakiness begins around 2 days after needling and can last anywhere between 2-5 days, again depending on the clients skin. ⁣

You can wear makeup from the next day to cover redness however when the skin starts to shed you will want to avoid makeup as it wont stick to the skin. Within 2-4 weeks after treatment is when you will notice the results. ⁣
